Enugu Election Update: Ekweremadu Wins Enugu West Senatorial Ticket

Report from DailyPost claims that Nigeria’s Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu has won the senatorial election conducted in Enugu West senatorial zone of Enugu State.

According to the report, the returning Officer for Enugu West 2015 Senatorial Election, Prof. Fab Onah announced the results as follows-

APC- 2314; AD- 186; APGA- 425; PDP- 120,075; UDP- 57 and UPP – 15.

Also Hon. Toby Okechukwu was reported to have been declared winner for Awgu Aninri Federal Constituency having polled 65929 to beat his closest rival Nwangbowa Ikechukwu of APC who got 1357.

We hope to update this once INEC releases the official result.
